The Regents of Southern California have been singing and preaching the Gospel across the nation since October 1970. Owner/Manager Rev. Billy Brisendine has been ministering since 1959 and proclaims he will go to his Heavenly Home with his Bible in one hand and a microphone in the other. The Regents Ministries are based out of Bakersfield, California and are willing to travel anywhere they are invited to share the Good News that "Jesus Saves, He Still Does." Rev. Billy Brisendine was honored at the 2023 Great Western Fan Festival in Visalia on Friday, May 5, 2023, for his 60 years of singing, preaching and devoted service to our Lord Jesus Christ through Southern Gospel Music. And as the founding member, was thanked for introducing to their genre the wonderful harmonies and sound of The Regents of Southern California.
