Following in his father's footsteps, Billy is deeply rooted in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. He speaks at revivals, conventions, and worship services all across the country, sings with the authority of God, and has always focused on the message of the music as the Holy Spirit touches lives and changes hearts.

As owner and manager of The Regents he has always provided a consistently stable platform that God is able to use for His glory. He sings lead, drives the bus, does the cleaning and keeps everyone in stitches with his unending humor.

In the early years he was involved with several other ministries such as The Victors, The Californians and The Weatherfords. As a very dynamic speaker he never fails to give people an opportunity to come to know Jesus as their personal savior.

Billy lives in Bakersfield, California with his wife Flora. Their ministry has truly been a joint effort.

Billy Brisendine of The Regents has been teaming up with Terry and Debra Luna. The Luna's have been nominated for, and have won, many Country Gospel Awards. Terry & Debra have recorded several projects containing all original songs they write themselves.  Six singles have charted in National Country Gospel Charts, two have landed in the Top 5.  They recently released their latest project, "Luna" in July 2017.  The CD contains 8 new songs written by Terry & Debra, two songs come from the pen of Legendary Country and Country Gospel singer/songwriter Freddie Hart. They round out the disc with the old classic, "Just A Closer Walk With Thee." Terry and Debra have worked in several music ministry capacities that include Worship Leaders, Music Directors and other ministry opportunities in churches, concerts, state and county fairs, radio and television appearances and Gospel Music Conventions from Coast to Coast. Terry & Debra are contributing writers to Christian Servant Magazine, an inspirational quarterly magazine serving the gospel music artist and industry.
